Phase Loss Fault Correction Plan

Jun 9, 2020 8:09:34 AM / by Ganesh Karbele

Why did POWEReasy trip?

The site has experienced a loss of power in one of the three phases. Such conditions are extremely critical for 3 phase loads. Motors can overheat and burn. Even if there are single phase loads the sudden loss and reappearance of power can damage your critical equipment. POWEReasy has disconnected the supply to prevent both of these unwanted outcomes.

What could be the root cause of the phase loss fault?

Phase loss faults are most often caused due to poor power quality from the electricity supplier. In some circumstances it is also caused by failures in fuses, MCBs or wiring in one of the phases.

Can you use electricity under some precautions? What are these?

It is not recommended to use electricity till it is in acceptable range.
